The Woody Valley Cabrio is a modern day stirrup harness. Perfect for beginners or those seeking to get back to super-light, super-simple free flying away from zips and backplates.
One size fits all. Although special sizing can be ordered on request and providing Woody Valley have the capacity in their build schedule. Available in a selection of colours (side panels only – front panel is always black) but please check with us as some colours might have a significant impact on lead times.
The Cabrio comes fitted with a Charly ‘Titanal’ lightweight snap-gate carabiner and is equipped as standard with towing loops, a neoprene radio pocket on one side and a stirrup with a rigid bar and one ‘ladder’ (to aid finding the bar).
It is then available in two versions:
‘Passenger’ configuration with no rescue container and a PVC front (for tandem and/or training belly landings).
Or with chest rescue container. This model also has a zipped pouch above the rescue container and then one below the container (this pouch fills the rest of the front but isn’t very deep).
On both versions of the harness, the front (either PVC bib or rescue container) is attached by Velcro and is therefore entirely replaceable. If you order the version with the rescue container it is also supplied with a PVC bib. So a student can use the PVC bib for school hill training flights initially and then swap back over to the rescue container front for higher flights. Or if you normally fly with a chute, you can quickly and easily remove it from the harness (without removing it from the container) and fit the PVC bib if you fancied playing on the beach/dunes and didn't want to risk getting your chute wet/sandy.
