Compared to its Jurassic ancestor, the current Twist 2 certainly has a more modern look!
The trailing edge has been redesigned to be streamlined. Clip-type batten ends (fit into trailing edge) are available as an option.
The sail has been truncated in span, pinched and lengthened in cord for better control of billow-shift and reduced flapping at high speeds.
The control frame upper attachment is located on the keel behind the hang loop in order to optimize flare authority and to make the wing statically neutral on launch. Profiled uprights and an aluminium profiled speed bar are available as (separate) options.
The keel pocket is shorter for more direct control also aided by a reduced wingspan.
The structure is now entirely in Zircal, a guarantee of lightness.
Definitely, the twist 2 is a modern wing built for the pleasure of flying!
A price option is available called the "Technora" option. This includes, Mylar (PXB10) upper sail and leading edge, coloured batten pockets, clip-type batten ends.
