The most outstanding features
Designed by the world champions Manfred Ruhmer and Christian Ciech, this advanced intermediate glider is the evolution of the Orbiter 2. The target for this new intermediate wing was to implement the ease of use in every flight moment, without penalizing the performances.
More details to follow (the S and M have now passed DHV certification - the L has passed stability tests but is waiting for some better weather to see how just how far the upper weight limit can be pushed) but Icaro2000 claim it is light, handles better (and easier) and has more performance than the Orbiter. So it should be pretty impressive!
We have a demo size M on order that is built and just waiting to ship from Italy. It will be with us before Christmas ready for demo flights in the New Year.
The finest tubing available is used, made from 7075 alloy, the same as that utilized in the aeronautical industry.
Our tubing is manufactured by extrusion, the process that guarantees the highest possible performance in terms of weight/strength and reliability.
