Newly revised Space 2 "16"
model 2017 - improved handling and the newly translated VG make flying even easier.
We developed the Space 2 for pilots who have just completed their basic training on the practice slope and are now looking for a hang-glider with which they can complete their high-altitude training and then continue to enjoy even after completing their training. But also experienced pilots who are looking for a glider that is easy to fly and who do not want to forego performance will have a lot of fun with the Space 2.
In terms of performance and safety, directional stability when towing, with a power harness or on a mini trike, the Space 2 is state-of-the-art. Regardless of how it is used, the space conveys a feeling of security from takeoff to landing. The uncomplicated flight characteristics, the low weight and the unmatched gliding performance for this class make the Space a fun wing.
The standard VG in connection with the high double sail of 80% results in a large speed range (stall at 22 kph and maximum speed at 85 kph), this enables relaxed aero-towing without great effort and a large range when using the Space with a power harness or on a mini trike.
The trailing edge of the sail is supported by a fixed crossbar between the 2nd and 3rd battens, which eliminates the need for a swivel tip, which saves weight on the wing tip.
The hardware is unique in this class and is manufactured directly in-house.
Due to the high maximum take-off weight, the Space is also ideally suited for heavy pilots and combinations with an engine system or a mini trike are possible without any problems. With possible options, such as profiled uprights with rubber edges (Aerosafe), a profiled speedbar, rubber or divisible base wheels, a folding keel and of course sail colors of your choice, the space can be tailored to suit everyone.
