These units are chunkier than a genuine Koch and are very robustly made. They do have pin-opening springs (so the pins are flung open when releasing with zero tension). They have two pins allowing connection of two tow lines (one over the bar and one under) for winching. Lines can be release sequentially or both together as required (note - only one line should be used for aerotow).
Available as standard with fixed mounting bushes or as an optional extra with the inner mounting bushes on pip-pins (aka ball-lock pins) as per picture to facilitate speedy fitting/removal on front loading harnesses.
Also available cut down to a much more compact size. This version is again available with either fixed bobbins or removable with pip-pins.
